—Background
First phase of a major new settlement
Located on the eastern fringe of the Eastleigh built-up area, Pembers Hill Park is designed to become the first phase of a major new settlement nestled in the rolling countryside leading to the South Downs closeby.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, we helped secure outline planning permission for 244 dwellings adjacent to new public woodlands and associated infrastructure. We subsequently secured reserved matters consent for practical delivery of the scheme.
—Design
Good quality public open space
Within the housing area a central green provides a focus and pleasant outlook for residents and is large enough for play and rest to co-exist.

The central boulevard was designed so that it could serve the strategic site if necessary, whilst the streetscapes comprised traditional architecture and were carefully composed to reinforce their position in the movement hierarchy.
