B&S were appointed to assist on the technical delivery of a new boys’ boarding house at Rikkyo School in England, a Japanese curriculum school near Horsham, West Sussex. The purpose-built accommodation provides a modern and welcoming environment for students, with bedrooms and shared spaces designed to support both day-to-day boarding life and student wellbeing, whilst responding sensitively to the character of the school’s established campus.

Working closely with LST Projects and the wider design team, we developed and coordinated the detailed design through the construction phase. Careful coordination was required between the architectural, structural and building services packages, alongside specialist subcontractor designs, to resolve key interfaces and translate the original design intent into a high-quality completed building.
